Mooching May kings under baitball near Craig Alaska.

May fishing near Craig Alaska with Kingfisher Lodge, beautiful sunny skies and calm weather. Saw a nice herring ball on the surface a half mile from where we were fishing, so running out to check it out found a nice school of kings under the bait which doesn’t always happen. Using the mooching technique with a cut plug herring and dropping just below the surface got us a tripple hookup, and probably would have had more hookups had we had more baits in the water.
