“Jeanette Elaine”

The custom 32’ x11’full walk around the "Jeanette Elaine” was built in 2009 specifically for Kingfisher Lodge for heavy offshore use being made of aluminum and to accommodate up to 6 fishermen, with both comfort and fishing in mind. Powered with extremely quiet twin 250 horse Mercury 4 stroke engines, she cruises at 30 mph getting you to the fishing grounds both safely and quickly. Cabin has state of the art electronic navigation and fish finding equipment, cabin heater, Sirius satellite radio, head, air ride and settee sitting. Large enough to spread fishermen out both fore and aft, high freeboard for comfort and safety.
Gear for salmon we use Shimano Tekota 600 line counter reels on GL Loomis 1084 9’6” rods which have landed halibut in excess of 200 pounds and King salmon over 70 pounds. Halibut rods are 6ft. Seeker rods with Shimano TLD 2 speed reels using Dacron line, no barn size halibut is a match for such well designed and built equipment.

Captain “Raf” Rafael Ramirez-Ruiz has lived in the Craig area since 2000 and guiding since 2004.
