Sport fishing report for Kingfisher Lodge, Craig, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. August 9th we were greeted with light south winds with forecast of switching to NW 20 in the afternoon so we were anxious to land our limits of Silvers and get out to get our bottom fish at the tide change and then back for Kings or the remainder of our Silvers if need be. Since Joel had done so well the previous day we had high hopes of following in his
footsteps but that isn’t how it worked out. As it went we landed half our Silvers by the tide change (Joel had his limit by then) then we went off shore and landed our Halibut and 4 nice Ling cod. After that we went in and eventually landed our limits of Silvers but landed no King salmon. Joel landed a nice King but had to release it due to his group landed theirs the day before. Sounded like most boats had a off day where most boats got their limits but had to work harder the we have been used to for the Coho’s.
