Fish We Catch

Kingfisher Charters and Lodge prides itself in providing its clients with captains that have the knowledge and experience to make them among the best fishing guides in Alaska. Our guides just happen to be seasoned son in laws so they have to perform! They will make even a first time fisherman seem to be a seasoned professional.

A normal day will consist of heading out to the fishing grounds by daylight, fishing for King Salmon or Silver Salmon, and sometimes even both. Then moving on to Halibut and other species such as Red Snapper, Ling cod, Black bass or different types of pelagic and non pelagic rock fish. The waters around Prince of Wales Island is one of the few areas in the Pacific Northwest where you have the possibility of catching all these species of fish, all in one day if time permits.
