Prince of Wales sport fishing report for August 5th – 9th.

Craig Alaska sport fishermen enjoyed outstanding coho fishing for the early part of August. These three days fishing provided these anglers with outstanding fishing as the photo above shows. Although King salmon were in smaller numbers even though running off shore one day the Silvers were in numbers and limits easily attained during these days. Bottom fishing remains strong with the halibut size limits raised to 45 inches and less or over 80 inches this increase in size allows the angler to take home a much increased amount of the tasty halibut. The picture shows a very nice catch of halibut including 2 very nice GAF.

Again we thank all those customers of ours that have come to our lodge fishing this year and everyone that has come has had an outstanding trip despite the Covid hurdles. Thanks for reading my reports.
