Kingfisher Charter Fishing Report, Craig, Alaska. 29th of June.
June 29, 2026
These reports are getting a bit tougher and tougher to write without sounding repetitive. King Salmon fishing is still slow. It seemed like bad luck would stick to one boat one day out of three and then the next day jump over to the next boat. All in all we did pretty well considering how slow the fishing is. Most boats limited out 2 out of the 3 days with one day coming in a few short.

Also the weather did not help out with pretty heavy northwest winds that made the water conditions on the outside less than pleasant.

We are really hoping that things will change and more fish are going to flush in. Again the bottom fishing is excellent with limits of halibut being caught each day. It also seems that there halibut to be found on the inside which is a nice option on bad weather days.

We have one more turn around with 16 guests total before we take a little break over 4th of July.
